Dear Parents/Carers
Many of you will have heard that I have taken up the offer of a post in York as Priest in Charge of the City Centre group of churches. We will be moving to York in December and my last day as Rector of these churches will be December 6th.
It has been lovely getting to know so many families over the last 8 years, particularly welcoming you to services in church, watching the little ones grow up into confident and happy young people and now seeing babies I have baptised arriving at the school gate ready for Reception class. Thank you for all your support over the years – I have loved being here.
There will be a vacancy for some time before a new vicar arrives, but services will be covered by local retired clergy as well as lay leaders.
