At the recent CHASA committee meeting it was noted that there are currently no Class Reps for Class 3.
We are therefore looking for one but ideally two parents of these year groups to volunteer as a Class Rep for the remainder of the academic year and hopefully into next.
Unsure of what’s involved, we’ll Laucinda Roberts has kindly commented below on her experiences.
Being a CHASA Class Rep’ is easy & the financial rewards for the school and children are highly motivating. Year reps’ do the following wherever possible (it is by no means a pressured role):
1. Help to sell tickets for fund raising events to their year groups. This can be done either at the school gates or by whatsapp / email groups etc. Hand any money collected to the treasurer.
2. If available, try to attend some Chasa meetings.
3. Help out at as many of the events as possible (there are not that many per year) and organise a rota for your year group’s allocated stall at the Summer fair.
Ideally we aim for 2 reps per year group. That way if one isn’t free the other can cover. It’s also a great way to get to know other parents in the school.
If you’d like to volunteer and help CHASA’s ongoing efforts for the school please either email email@example.com or the school reception.
