It will be a difficult Christmas for many families this year and to reflect our Christian values we will be supporting the Mission Christmas Cash for Kids Appeal.
Winter is drawing in, and cost-of-living pressures are still weighing heavily on families across the UK. For them, Christmas is a time of stark choices. Choices between heating their homes or buying food. Choices that strip away the magic of Christmas; no child should worry that Santa won’t come.
If you would like to support this appeal, we would welcome a donation of a new & unwrapped toy or gift. Please can you drop this off in school by Wednesday 11 December and Mrs Bacon will deliver all the donations to the nearest collection point.
They will be collecting gifts for children of all ages from babies and pre-schoolers who might receive traditional toys and games from the appeal through to teenagers for whom you might consider donating items such as health and beauty products. See link below for some gift ideas.
