Next week is the week of our phonics screening check for Year 1 children and some Year 2 children. Please do read lots over the weekend, play some games on phonics play and check out the phonics area on the Beech Class page on the school website! Thank you!
Message from Miss Williams:
Thank you for all of your support so far in preparing your children for the MTC, the children have worked incredibly hard and should all be so proud of their progress in learning their times tables!
Year 4 children will be completing the MTC next week so any final practice this weekend is wonderful. TT Rockstars Soundcheck is great for this. The children are now focusing on their technique, taking the full 6 seconds to answer each question to avoid mistakes from rushing.
