House Teams

Every child from Reception to Year 6 is a member of one of our four House Teams.

The House Team system was refreshed in the Spring Term of 2024 to further develop a sense of identity and to complement our work on developing understanding of cultural diversity.  It is our intention that our House Team system supports and fosters positive relationships through a strong sense of responsibility and community for all the children in the school. It is a key vehicle in promoting an understanding and direct experience of democratic systems and procedures.

This year we focused on leaders who come from different backgrounds. Each person embodies our values and put those beliefs into action in deep, meaningful ways. As leaders, they left the world a better place and their spirituality was a huge driving force in achieving this. Our leaders come from a range of backgrounds, cultures, spiritual paths and time periods. In each of them we can recognise our values and use this to take their inspirational messages into our own lives.
