Reading Ambassadors

Mrs Rayner recruited our Reading Ambassadors at the start of the academic year. They meet weekly on a Monday afternoon and aim to promote a love of reading across school.

Here’s a pupil voice perspective of being a Reading Ambassador, from Kiera:
“Being a Reading Ambassador gives you responsibility and you always have fun.  We get to help pick the World Book Day theme and anything to do with reading.  We always have fun voting and picking.  Reading Ambassadors meet in Oak Class on a Monday.  We contribute ideas and write them down and try to make our reading dreams come to life.  Mrs Rayner holds our meetings and is in charge of reading.  She is an important part of Reading Ambassadors because she arranges our meetings so that we can have the lovely reading events we have at Crayke School.”
