Wow! It was just incredible to see so many children from the Crayke family participating in the Junior Parkrun yesterday, many of whom were doing so for the first time! It was also phenomenal to have a full roster of volunteers from within our staff, governor and CHASA team who were all willing to get out of bed extra early on a Sunday in order to support this fantastic community event – thank you to all of you, you hi-viz heroes!
Special mentions must go to Arthur (first Crayke male finisher) and Rosie (first Crayke female finisher). Of the 71 runners in total, almost 20 were current, former or future pupils of our school! Well done to all those who achieved their PBs yesterday: Arthur, Percy (who also got a PB the day before at the 5k Parkrun!), Rosie, Martha, Ernie, Constance and Grace.
