For the children that will be running in the cross country finals at Catterick Racecourse, the details are as follows.
Please ensure all children are transported to the racecourse ( there is no bus provided due to the small numbers of children running)
The children need to be at the Racecourse at 10.30am (Y3 girls race is at 11.oo). Every child will need to be registered in attendance on the day.
Children should run in dark shorts and PE t shirt. Please make sure they have plenty of warm ( and water proof) clothing along with Packed lunch and plenty to drink.
The presentation wil be at 1.40pm and the children may depart after that. The children are not required to come back into school after that.
NB Please note the ground at the racecourse is not like running on a lawn – it is bumpy and the grass is fairly long.
It will be a fantastic experience for all involved – lets enjoy it!
