Wear a ‘onesie’ for Water Aid!

As some of you may or may not know, this Sunday I shall be plodding the streets of Brighton in the Brighton Half Marathon. I did explain to the children in January that even as adults we have to learn new skills and more importantly rise to the challenge of things we find difficult ( breathing after running being one of them). This is the first time I have ever attempted this.

I am raising money for the charity Water aid who, the children will tell you, support communities all over the world that do not have access to clean water for drinking and sanitation.

To support this, we would like to invite the children, for a small donation, to wear non uniform on Friday (15th Feb) and at the suggestion of some of the older children ‘ wear a onesie’ if they would like to and the ‘onesie for Water aid’ had a kind of ring to it.(Please note that they must have shorts and t shirt underneath). There is no compulsory requirement for the onesie!!

Many thanks in anticipation for your support.

NB – please note – for those prolific runners out there ( and I know there are many in our school community) I am not aiming for any specific time – the purpose of this adventure is to finish the 13.1 miles ….and still breathe afterwards.
