On Monday, 14th July, Classes 3 and 4 will be visiting The Moors National Park Centre at Danby to take part in the following activities: maps skills, river investigation and woodland habitats. The children will be leaving school at 8.30 a.m. promptly and will return to school at approx. 4.00 p.m. (please could bus children make alternative arrangements). Children should be in school uniform, have sturdy trainers and a waterproof coat (sunscreen and hat if the weather is glorious!). A packed lunch will be required with plenty to drink (no glass bottles, fizzy drinks, etc.). If your child suffers from travel sickness, appropriate medication in a named envelope should be given to their class teacher.
The voluntary contribution towards this visit is £7.00 (the total cost is £514 which includes coach and workshops). Please email permission for this visit and send your contributions into school in a named envelope.
