Dear parent/carer,
You will undoubtedly be aware of the tragic earthquake in Nepal. Thousands are feared dead, and many more are injured or have been made homeless. Buildings have been flattened, communities shattered and lives torn apart. Dozens of aftershocks continue to hit the area, and people are sleeping in the open air from fear of further destruction.
To support fundraising for the Nepalese Earthquake, a non-uniform day will take place on Friday 1st May 2015. A suggested donation of £1 should be made by any children who would like to take part. The money that we raise will be donated to the British Red Cross (a member of the Disasters Emergency Committee, which brings together 13 leading UK aid charities in times of crisis).
Yours sincerely,
Andrew Buttery
