Dear Parents and Carers, as you are aware the majority of children arrive at school on time between 8.50am and 9am; we appreciate this. However, there are an increasing number of children who are entering school after this time.
As soon as the children reach class the day’s routines begin, the register is taken and teachers start the first lesson. Children who arrive late can disrupt both the teacher and their peers’ learning; this also has a negative impact on their own learning.
We understand that a child may be late as a ‘one off’ but persistent lateness is not acceptable and where this is the case we will be contacting you to address this.
Thank you for your continued support.
