Plea for donations of props:
If anyone has any of these items hidden in the depths of your home, being able to use/borrow them would be much appreciated;
- Plastic spades
- Tankards
- Any pirate paraphernalia e.g. hats, swords, eye-patches
- A wooden crutch for a broken leg (!)
- Beige garden twine
- Hessian sack material/bags
- Bonnet or mop cap
- Sailor – type jackets with gold edging
- Skeleton t-shirt
- A colonial/court type white wig (long or short) (!)
ALL CHILDREN IN CLASS 4 TO WEAR CANVAS PUMPS/PLIMPSOLLS/BALLET PUMPS IF POSSIBLE as moving about on the stage is noisy!
Pirates:
- Cut-offs/denim cut off/leggings
- Stripy t-shirts/top
- Waistcoats (if possible)
- Bandanas/pirate hats (if possible)
Long John Silver:
- Black trousers that 1 leg can be cut off at the knee
- Stripy t-shirt/top
- Dark blazer/jacket (if possible)
Jim Hawkins:
- Leggings
- Plain t-shirt/top
- Waistcoat (if possible)
- ALL IN NEUTRAL COLOURS e.g. brown, khaki, grey, white, cream
Squire Trelawny/Captain Smollett:
- White shirt
- Black trousers
- Scarf/cravat (if possible)
Doctor Livesey:
- White shirt/blouse
- Blazer/jacket (if possible)
- Glasses (if possible)
- Doctor’s bag – old fashioned (if possible)
Ben Gunn:
- Old clothes in neutral colours that can be cut up e.g t-shirt, loose trousers/shorts
Parrot/skeleton
Black leggings
Narrators:
- Pretty dress
Villagers:
- Leggings/shorts/skirt
- Plain T-shirt/top
- Waistcoat (if possible)
- ALL IN NEUTRAL COLOURS e.g. brown, khaki, grey, white, cream
