Bootham Junior School – Class 3 parents/carers only

Bootham Junior School are running a selection of workshops for Year 3 and 4 pupils on Monday 13th May. These are optional and parents are expected to take and stay with their child.

AMES PROGRAMMING – create a car racer game.

MASTERCHEFS – Prepare, cook and eat your own savoury dish.

SLIMY SCIENCE – Experiment with Chemistry and the Natural World.

ENGINEERING – Put your designing and making stills to the test with this exciting look at engineering and the science behind movement and forces. Design and build your own balloon powered car to take home.

ART – Work with a specialist art teacher to extend your artistic skills, bring your own individual flair to a new project.

YOUNG AUTHORS – Get your creative juices flowing as you begin work on writing your own book.

SAMBA BAND – come along and join in the band creating Samba Rhythms to perform to your families at the end of the workshop.

FROM PAGE TO STAGE – Work with Nik Briggs from York Stage School to bring a text to life..
