Sports Day Update, Transition Morning & Clubs

Today’s Sports Day will go ahead as planned.  School will provide pupils with a picnic lunch (for those children who have a school dinner on the day). Parents, carers and siblings are invited to join us on the school field with their own picnics from 12 noon.
Sports Day will start around 1.15pm and take up the afternoon.  Could I please suggest that you bring a suitable chair/s as the grass is likely to be damp in places.

Transition morning will be held this Friday. This will be an opportunity for the children to meet their teachers for next academic year and visit new classrooms (where applicable).
During the session, the teacher will spend some time explaining the expectations for the year groups, and sharing information about some of the exciting topics/events/trips the children have got to look forward to. The remainder of the morning will be spent on learning activities, so the teacher can get a ‘feel’ for what the children are capable of, and find out about more about each child.

As the later stages of the summer term are exceptionally busy, all staff run clubs will conclude at the end of this week.  Multisports (run by Mark Cromack) will end on Tuesday 16th July.
