A final call for anyone who wishes to attend the sports camp next week, which is running from Tuesday 1 to Friday 4 September inclusive. Booking form and further details are available here: Holiday Club Letter Crayke Primary 1.9.20. to 4.9.20.
For those who have already booked place/s, please be aware of the following information to help with the logistics of the days.
There will be two groups, each with their own sports coach. This ensures that social distancing can be maintained between the two groups. This is further supported by the zoning of the playground and field for their activities.
Group A are the children who are going to be in Year 3/4 (Class 3) next term. They will need to be dropped off between 8:45am and no later than 8:55am. They will need to be collected at 3:15pm and no later than 3:25pm. Their allocated entrance into school is the hall door nearest Class 1.
Group B are those children who will be in Year 1/2 (Class 2) or Year 5/6 (Class 4) next term. They will need to be dropped off between 9:00am and no later than 9:10am. They will need to be collected at 3:30pm and no later than 3:40pm. Their allocated entrance is the hall door nearest Class 3.
If you have children in both groups, please adhere to the earlier start time and later collection time.
The planned activity timetable is as follows, which allows for cleaning of equipment between use by each group. Please note this may change in the event of inclement weather. At times children may need to be indoors; the base for Group A is the hall and for Group B is Class 3. Should this be necessary, there will be a range of indoor activities including dance, GOAL, bingo and dodgeball.

For all drop off and collections, we will maintain the one way system which has been in place since the partial reopening of school. Don’t worry if you aren’t sure of the procedures – SCSS staff and myself will be at the gate each morning and afternoon.
Children will require a water bottle, packed lunch, sunhat and suncream (hopefully!)
Please don’t hesitate to contact either myself or Simon Carson should you require any further information.
