Please find below a list of costumes/props needed for our production of ‘Ye-Ha’.
Also, some cast members will be wearing face paints (Snazaroo brand) and coloured hair spray/hair gel for the performance – if you have any concerns about this, please let me know as soon as possible.
Plea for donations of props:
If anyone has any of these items hidden in the depths of your home, being able to use/borrow them would be much appreciated;
- cowboy hats
- chaps
- feather bowers x 2
- tankards/tumblers (not glass)
- A mortarboard
- Ladies wig or plastic hair curlers
- Mayor’s chain (plastic)
- Horse ears/tail
- Blacksmith’s apron or similar
- Any wild west paraphernalia
ALL CHILDREN IN CLASS 4 TO WEAR CANVAS PUMPS/PLIMPSOLLS/BALLET PUMPS IF POSSIBLE as moving about on the stage is noisy!
Wilbur/Chip/Seth and Amos:
Blue jeans, checked shirt.
Billie-Jo:
Cowboy boots, denim skirt, checked shirt, neckerchief
Lightning:
Grey top and trousers/leggings etc..
Ma Hubbard:
Skirt (possibly an underskirt/petticoat?), blouse, ladies wig or plastic curlers, shawl.
Tex Truman:
Checked shirt, trousers/jeans, blazer/jacket if possible.
Dwayne Dimples:
Jeans, white shirt, waistcoat if possible.
Outlaws:
ALL in black, preferably red buff or neckerchief (we already have some)
Mad Dog McNut/Bronco Bill:
ALL black, cowboy hat
Dr Spooner/Rooster:
Jeans, white shirt, jacket (Dr Spooner) and waistcoat (Rooster)
Saloon girls:
Black top, feather bower, (we already have their skirts)
Undertakers:
Black trousers/jeans/leggings etc.., white shirt, black/dark tie, black/dark jacket if possible.
Virginia and Verity:
Pretty dress or a dungaree/pinafore dress and frilly socks.
Chad and Sonny:
Shorts (denim?) and a checked shirt.
Chief Walking Weasel:
Dressed as a smart English gentleman.
Indians:
Brightly coloured clothes (we will provide the headdresses)
