I am delighted to be joining the board of Governors at Crayke. As a parent of children at the school for over 4 years (I now have 3 children at the school), I have been tremendously impressed by everything the school does. From the teaching and ethos of the school, to the promotion of individual growth, happiness and friendship, the opportunity to contribute to the continued strength and success of the school is the main reason I wanted to get involved.
I have spent the last 15 years working in the Commercial Real Estate advisory sector and have recently set up my own business supporting and advising clients and am now based in Boroughbridge. Before that, I worked at the international real estate group JLL in London and Leeds and was responsible for advising pension funds on their commercial property investments and developments. As part of this, I helped with large scale community developments and these always involved the construction of schools. Schools play a vital role in building and sustaining local communities.
Crayke School sits at the heart of the community and the opportunity of contributing positively to community life, and it’s future, is what motivates me.
