I am really pleased to have become a Governor at Crayke School. I moved to Stillington 5 years ago and my son Joshua is in Year 1. I’m a relatively new parent to the school yet I have been made to feel so welcome by everyone; the staff and parents have been wonderful! I have also really enjoyed helping CHASA raise money for the school and arrange events for the children.
My professional background is in Healthcare. I work as a first contact practitioner for the NHS at Ampleforth and Derwent medical practices and Central Leeds GP confederation. I also work in the private sector as a physiotherapist.
I hope in my new role as a Governor that I can play a part in helping the school maintain its high standards of education and pupil/ staff welfare so every child/ staff member is supported to achieve their full potential.
