Good morning everyone!
Welcome back to the start of the new academic year – we were so excited to see everyone looking so smart, ready and happy this morning. Everyone is already busy learning the new routines of their classes; the atmosphere in school is absolutely lovely and very calm. What a brilliant way to begin the new term! Thank you to everyone for ensuring the children were here promptly and looking so smart.
PE kits are required on the following days:
Apple Class (Reception) – bring PE kit into school on Wednesday; children will come home wearing them on Friday.
Beech Class (Year 1/2) – come to school wearing PE kits on Thursday and Friday.
Holly Class (Year 3/4) – come to school wearing PE kits on Tuesday and Friday.
Oak Class (Year 5/6) – come to school wearing PE kits on Tuesday and Friday.
Extra curricular clubs will restart during week commencing 19 September 2022 and further details will follow soon.
During the summer holidays, the running track was installed and is looking fabulous – Holly Class have already been to check it out and do a test lap!
Children will be bringing home their brand new reading diaries/planners this week. Please do spend some time looking at these with your child/ren. They have been created by Mrs Rayner and last year’s Reading Ambassadors and they are absolutely fantastic, containing a wealth of useful information for the year ahead. Further information about using these will be contained within this week’s newsletter.
Here’s to a great year ahead! As always, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
