We’ve had such a brilliant (and very busy) day today. We were treated to a delicious full English breakfast and enjoyed trying our hand at archery. Mrs Jackson came to visit for the morning, too! After that, we headed to the climbing wall where everyone had a go and challenged themselves. We had a packed lunch that we made ourselves, then headed over to the giant zip wire! The determination from the children was incredible – it wasn’t an easy thing to climb up a ladder, then a pole to reach the wobbly top and zip-wire down. Everyone cheered each other on and they have been such a wonderful team.
To finish our time off on the ‘high-ropes,’ we got to partner up for a crate-stacking challenge, before heading up ‘Jacob’s Ladder’ with even more team work and communication skills needed. We’ve had a delicious evening meal and are now playing charades and enjoying some down time, before an evening scavenger hunt, film time and much needed good night’s sleep!
