Dear Parents/Carers of children in Oak Class
We are delighted to be able to offer children in Oak Class the opportunity to be part of the amazing Young Voices Concert that will be touring the UK in 2024. We have booked places for our children to perform in the choir at Sheffield Arena on Tuesday 9 January and rehearsals will begin in the near future (please see details attached for further details).
Children will travel by coach to Sheffield Arena accompanied by Crayke staff late morning to rehearse with other schools. The concert will take place between 7pm and 8.45pm, after which time the children will travel home by return coach. The cost of the coach will be confirmed shortly.
Family and friends are able to purchase tickets to attend the concert to be part of the audience. Please note that parents/carers and family/friends will need to make their own transport arrangements. The tickets cost £23.00 and order forms will be distributed if you agree to your child taking part. In addition, children are encouraged to wear a Young Voices T-shirt and these can be purchased at a cost of £15.00 each. Again, order forms will be distributed once we have choir numbers. The deadline for purchasing tickets and T-shirts will be 28 September.
