Good morning and welcome back to the Summer Term. We look forward to seeing everyone looking smart and ready for the final term of the academic year, tomorrow (Tuesday 18 April), from 8:50am.
Please remember that all clubs resume next week, except Mark Cromack’s multi-sports (today) and Mrs Rayner’s SATs Club for Year 6 (tomorrow).

Please do ensure that on PE days, the children wear their hoodies, school jumpers or cardigans alongside white or blue t-shirts and black or navy shorts or jogging bottoms.
The staff have been busy planning and preparing some exciting learning opportunities for the children this term, with the overview as follows:
Class | Theme | Enquiry Question |
Apple | Ready, Steady Grow
Up, Up and Away |
How do things grow?
How do people live in other countries? |
Beech | Animal Explorers | Where are the wild things? |
Holly | Radical Romans | How did the Romans impact Britain? |
Oak | Riches in the Rainforest | How did the rainforest support the Maya? |
This is a really important term, with pupils in many year groups undertaking various assessments, and therefore it continues to be essential that children attend school regularly and on time. There was a real improvement in punctuality just before Easter; it would be wonderful to see that continue this term!
As always, if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
With best wishes
