Year 6 Mini Olympics at Easingwold School this Wednesday

Please see below the post we sent out last week about the Year 6 Mini Olympics event being held at Easingwold Secondary School this Wednesday, 15th June.

Please can you let us know ASAP if you give permission for your child to attend – many thanks.  All children are invited, however we are aware that there is a Ryedale School Induction Day taking place on that day.

All Year 6 children from Crayke School have been invited to take part in the Mini Olympics event to be held on Wednesday, 15th June at Easingwold Secondary School. Teams will be picked on the day allowing all pupils to mix with children from other schools.  They will then take part in a number of multi-skills events.

All pupils need to be at Easingwold Secondary School for 9.00 a.m.  They should arrive ready to compete wearing sports clothes suitable for the weather on the day.  All children will need a packed lunch, a mid-morning snack and a drink in a plastic bottle.  Crayke School sweatshirts should be worn as well, plus children need to bring a sun hat and sun screen.  Children will need to be collected at  3.00 p.m.

The children will be accompanied by a member of staff from school, but during the activities may well be with staff from other schools.  Please be assured that the children will be well supervised at all times.

We are aware that there is a Ryedale School Induction Day on 15th June, so obviously those children moving up to Ryedale will not be able to attend this event.

Please email to acknowledge receipt of this information and to give permission for your child to attend.
