Tiddlywinks Out of School Club Crayke is based in the school hall.  It aims to provide high quality out of school care for pupils from Crayke Primary school aged between 4 and 11 years old.  To receive an enrolment pack, or to make further enquiries please contact: crayke@tiddlywinks-childcare.co.uk

Aims: At Tiddlywinks Out of School Club we aim to provide a safe, secure and relaxed environment, offering a range of activities to reflect the interests of the children in our care. We offer a range of provision including messy play, STEM activities, small world and literature as well as fun games and sporting activities. Our Club follows the Playwork Principles, so the children are free to choose activities and resources as they wish. There will always be a selection of activities and resources available, including dressing up, small world, craft, board games, construction, computer games, physical play, cookery, and reading.

Food: The food we provide at the OOSC is not intended as a substitute for a main evening meal. We provide breakfast and a light snack tea we will also offer a healthy snack, including fresh fruit at 3.30pm when the children finish school.  We promote independence, by encouraging the children to help prepare their own breakfast and tea, and to clear away after themselves. We use fresh ingredients and follow statutory food hygiene guidelines. Fresh drinking water is available at all times. We cater for all individual dietary requirements and parental preferences wherever possible. We recognise the importance of healthy nutrition for children delivered in a calm, friendly setting. Sample menus are available on request.

Admission: Our Club is accessible to all children who attend Crayke School. Enrolment to the club is organised by the Manager/area manager which enables us to ensure all the relevant paperwork is in place. Extra session bookings are to be made via our online booking system and we ask that regular sessions are booked for the term as we cannot guarantee the space you require unless you have pre booked it.  Ad Hoc sessions can be booked via the online booking form when space permits for children who have already enrolled with us. We use a waiting list system when we are full. The waiting list will be operated on a first come-first served basis, with the exception of siblings who will have priority for the same regular termly pre booked days as their sibling. See our Admission and Fees Policy for more details. We require a completed set of registration forms for your child before they are able attend the OOSC club. Re-enrolment for September is required at the end of the summer term. We cannot keep a place open for your child unless you complete a new registration form.
